Point Conception Studio was established September 2008 and is owned and operated by producers / engineers Grant Gorman and Ed Layola.  We are a digital multi track recording studio,  conveniently located in north Goleta.  

Just three easy steps to find out more about us.

First.  Please read about the studio in the  About the Studio  link.  There you will find information on our general policies and about what types of recording projects are suited for our studio.  You will also find a link to our equipment page, if you are interested.  You should be able to get a good idea if our facility is what you had in mind.

Second.  You will ultimately need to decide which producer / engineer you would like to work with,  Grant Gorman or Ed Layola.   To help you decide, you can read about them in About Ed Layola  or  About Grant Gorman  links.  Since "hearing is believing", listen to some samples of their work in  Listen to Ed's work  or  Listen to Grant's work  links.  Please use a good pair of headphones.

Third.  Check out our rates.  If you've already read about and listened to some sample mixes by Grant and Ed, you should now have a pretty good idea about who you'd like to work with and if our recording studio will meet your needs.  The only thing left to do,  is to contact Ed or Grant and make an appointment for the initial meeting at no charge so you can check out the studio and meet your producer / engineer.  We will discuss your project and other related details.  Then you will have a very good idea about what to expect before you make your final decision.  We look forward to working with you.
